Allison & Andrew – The Wall

Aug 31
2010

No, the wall has nothing to do with the picture to the left, but with the picture below and the only reason this post is titled “The Wall” is because I love it and I can. Also, for the life of me, I can’t figure out where I’ve seen a shot like that. Old album cover… anyone?

When I first met with Allison and Andrew, I felt like we were meant to be a part of their wedding. Call it fate or just a common coincidence, but everything about them was just beautiful. The more they told me about their wedding, the more excited I got. Now, I must admit, I get a bit giddy about most weddings, but I knew we were going to have a great time at this one. And we did… oh yeah, Allison and Andrew did too!

To Allison and Andrew:
I really hope you two enjoy this video as much as I do. I think I’ve watched it 20 times. You both deserve the best and I wish nothing less for you two in the future and the present. Thank you so much for making it such an enjoyable experience and let me know the next time you want to skip a reception and grab pizza. :)

Kristin & Brandon – Epic Flowers

Aug 13
2010

I’m stepping out and being a bit more creative with the titles and I think this one sums up the wedding quite nicely. I’ve never seen floral arrangements of such epic proportions at a wedding. Sadly I think the video scales down how massive these beautiful pieces were. I have to give full credit to Kristin and The Perfect Petal for pulling these designs off.
As for the Brandon and Kristin, they were a stunning couple. Lovely in all sense of the word. They had such beautiful energy and playful hearts. I wish them nothing best in the present and the future. We truly had a wonderful time being a part of this wedding.

Lindsay & Steve – Faces

Jul 23
2010

Ok… so normally I would call this post, “Lindsay & Steve – Highlights” but really what you are watching is the million different faces they can make in 5 minutes. Honestly, this wedding was a blast… we actually hung out a bit after just because we wanted to see what they were going to do next. For them, the day was about being themselves… and it really shines through. Give them a prop and watch the entertainment (a bit dangerous at times), tell them to walk and they start dancing the macarena. Everything about these two, screams love, but to me, it was that childhood love, like when your still giddy around each other. It was a beautiful see that after dating for 7 years, they haven’t lost the spark. Anyway, I wish them the world and a future full of love and happiness.

PS. They had Breakfast for Dinner! Totally Rocked…

Mike & Amanda – Trailer & More

Jul 18
2010

Back to Colorado Springs… Mike & Amanda are a perfect couple. Loving and caring, but always ready to have a good time. You can see the connection between the two in how they interact with each other. It was quite difficult to separate the two.
Hillside Gardens was a beautiful venue and the rain again held off for the wedding. The scenery was amazing, as was the sight of these two getting married. I wish them
both the best in the years to come and all the happiness in the world.
So this is kinda of rare… I’ve actually posted both the trailer and highlight reel below at the same time. Ended up staying up and finishing them both yesterday. Enjoy!

Special thanks to Zach Miller Photography, you really made it a great experience for us.

Katie & Nick – Highlights

Jul 13
2010

When I first met Nick & Katie, I could instantly see the connection. Big Hearts, Big Smiles… They held nothing back and nothing inside. For a 4th of July wedding, this one didn’t need real fireworks, just Nick & Katie side by side and hand in hand.
Despite the mid-afternoon hail storm, it was a beautiful day in Estes Park. The clouds parted and gave way to sun. The Della Terra Mountain Chateau was in full swing and ever accommodating to our needs.
We had a wonderful time at the wedding, Nick & Katie were an absolute pleasure to be around, so respectful and honest, and so very willing to do anything we asked of them. I really can’t put into words, how welcome they made us feel and how much of an impact that made on us. I wish them the best in the years to come and safe journeys wherever the road make take them.
