Megan + Ben – The Boots

Dec 20
2010

The time has finally come to put away our boots for the winter. Well, at least for a month. This is the last wedding, I will be posting this year.

Thankfully, Megan kept hers out for the wedding and they made quite an appearance. I was actually a bit surprised after going through the footage, how much these boots kept showing up. I have to say, I loved them though. It’s a simple touch like this, that separates and defines the kind of couple Megan and Ben are. I remember the first time I spoke to Megan, she was a bit frazzled trying to plan her wedding and a huge cattle show (don’t remember the name of it) the week after. But I have to say, for having only a month or two to plan the wedding, she was handling it extremely well and in the end with the support of friends (Brianna) and family, they pulled together an amazing wedding. I wish you both the best and safe journeys for Ben as he continues to serve our country. Thank you and I hope you enjoy the video!

Jen + Geoff – May the Sun Shine

Dec 02
2010

What a perfect day. The sun rose to a blue sky and slight breeze over one of the most beautiful locations in Colorado. It was our first time out in Winter Park at Devils Thumb Ranch and I truly hope it’s not our last. The venue was heavenly.
Jen & Geoff chose an amazing place for such an intimate affair. Every detail of the wedding was precise and uniquely defined who they were as individuals and as a couple. Despite the grandiose appearance of it all, the wedding maintained a lovely simplicity. An event solely for their dearest friends and family that they held close.
Thank you both for allowing us to be a part and making us feel welcome. May the sun shine brightly on your future together.

Michelle + Paul – “Lets Run”

Nov 19
2010

This was quite a day. It was our first time shooting two ceremonies for a wedding and so we weren’t quite sure what to expect and how we would setup and tear down 3 times and actually be on time doing each. Thankfully, Heidi decided to join us and was a huge help just making sure our equipment was in the right place even though she was completely new to the downtown area and I kept thinking she’d call completely lost (She didn’t!). The day was beautiful, 70′s, sunny, slight breeze… quite typical for Denver. The wedding just went by so fast, I don’t remember a lot of specifics, but something that really stood out takes place in the first minute of the highlight reel below. Paul and his Groomsmen somehow came up with the idea… “Lets Run!” It really became quite the motto of the day for us. We ran, everywhere!
Michelle and Paul were an amazing couple. So beautiful inside and out! They just wanted to have fun and let the day unfold as it may. For such a busy day, they were always so calm and relaxed, probably in part to their amazing coordinator, Tanya Porter. Hope you both enjoy the video below! It was truly a pleasure to be a part of your day!

Sarah + Jeremy – The Gondola

Nov 09
2010

In a somewhat recent development, I’ve discovered I’m kinda afraid of heights. So this wedding was definitely a challenge in terms of reaching the location. However, I must say, upon arriving and reaching the pinnacle of this beautiful mountain. It was site to behold.
When I first spoke to Sarah & Jeremy, they were very specific in terms of what they wanted. Even to the point of suggesting certain shots… To them, it was about the experience, the little things, and everyone else. Yes, in the end the day was theirs to cherish and enjoy, but the celebration with friends and family was the hightlight. I wish nothing but the best for them in the present and future. Thank you both for allowing us to be a part of this moment in time. Enjoy the video!

Kiran & Ritu – Colorful Days

Oct 11
2010

This wedding took place down in Texas as part of a joint effort between myself and my partner Troy with Idle Hands Photography. It was my first full Indian ceremony, so thankfully everyone there was more than willing to help out and point us in the right direction. One thing that really stands out about this wedding, besides the extreme heat, was how beautiful the colors were. Everyone wore such unique and gorgeous colors, it really made every shot a vivid experience. Kiran & Ritu were an absolute pleasure to be around. Everything we asked, was received and replied to so graciously. They were a beautiful couple, just perfect in every way. Always eager to dance and to celebrate. Overall, I was thrilled to be a part and thankful for the opportunity. I hope you enjoy the video and I wish you both all the happiness in the world.
